Move N' Groove asked her...
How do you incorporate movement into your everyday life?
I do something related to dancing every single day, whether that be choreography, teaching, assisting, or improv. I love going to the gym and working out with friends or family. Powerlifting has also been a really fun hobby that I enjoy.
Who is your favorite mover of all time, and why?
My favorite mover would have to be my sister Hannah. She trained me and pushed me to be the best dancer I could be ever since I was little. She is one of the greatest choreographers out there, and her creativity and passion inspires me every day.
What legacy do you hope to leave behind for the next generation of movers?
I hope to inspire the next generation and keep the passion for dance and movement alive. The people who left their passionate legacy have inspired me to still dance today, and I would love to be that kind of role model for others. Prioritizing the enjoyment of movement and creativity is something I always want pass on.
What are some staple clothing pieces in your closet that assist you on your movement journey?
Any time I dance, I always pick my biker shorts and my sports bra tops. They are the most comfortable and allow me to move the most. I also love wearing sweatpants and a hoodie when going to the gym.
Sarah is as graceful and powerful in her art as she is kind and compassionate in her personality. It was an absolute joy getting to know her, and we know you all love her as much as we do!
